Hampshire Down rams have proved to deliver progeny with:

The Vose’s flock numbers 1100 ewes which are lambed in three batches:

1. January
2. end February to third week of March
3. April

Lambing this year (2004) was 1.68% (early lambing reduces the %).

By the end of the second week of May 773 lambs had finished for slaughter:

20.3% graded E & U
76.7% graded R
3% were graded below base specification.

The first lambs from both the first and second lambing batches
reached finishing weight in just ten weeks!
